Supervisory Committee

The Supervisory Committee plays a critical role in ensuring accountability and compliance within IICU. Its primary responsibilities include providing audit oversight, ensuring adherence to established procedures, and promoting sound governance practices. The committee verifies that all operations align with the organization’s Bye-Laws and makes recommendations to the General Manager as needed. Decisions are made democratically, with all members collaborating to maintain transparency and integrity in IICU’s activities.

Credit Committee

The Credit Committee is responsible for reviewing all loan applications and financial requests, ensuring each is supported by the necessary documentation and complies with regulatory standards. Working in tandem with the Compliance Department, the Committee ensures that every decision is backed by sound financial advice and responsible practices. Our goal is to protect your interests while maintaining the integrity of our institution—because meeting your financial needs is not just our duty, it’s our priority.

Education Committee

The Education Committee is tasked with promoting the Credit Union and facilitating educational and training initiatives for members, staff, and leadership. Supported by an allocation of 5% from the Annual Net Surplus, the committee addresses the evolving demands of legislation and the dynamic nature of the Credit Union Movement. By focusing on re-educating and empowering members across all demographics, the committee ensures sustained engagement and informed participation within the organization.

Events Committee

The Events Committee is the creative force behind our internal and external engagements, responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events that align with our mission and values. From staff celebrations to community outreach initiatives, the committee ensures every detail is thoughtfully curated to create meaningful and memorable experiences. With collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity at its core, the Events Committee brings people together—strengthening our culture and making every occasion a reflection of who we are.
